Mallory Park Track Day - April 2007

The MSCC Track Day was arranged for Saturday 14th April, at Mallory Park.
For the second time we were extremely lucky with the weather, a dry, sunny April day. After the safety briefing, cars were split into four groups of similar pace, and track time was rotated between them at 15 minute intervals. There was a slight delay waiting for the mist to lift but from then, the conditions were perfect.
If you've not had a go at a track day, this sort of event is ideal because the emphasis is on safety, safety, safety and enjoyment. With advanced noice, some of the Morgan specialist insurers will will extend your policy cover for this sort of event because it is non-competitive and there is no timing.
